trip to penang (1st day)

1st day (7 jun 2007)

On the day of 7th july, my parents, little bro and sis and I went to penang for a trip of eating around the penang island. We took 6.55am early flight there and reached there around 7.40am. Damn early, we had to wake up around 4.30am and went to LCCT around 5am. It is so long time ago i wake up so early. =='

Anyway, it is worth it. Once reaching there, we took a taxi straight to the town for our breakfast. Because the taxi driver is an Indian, he brought us to an Indian shop, called Sri Ananda Bahvan to have our breakfast.
Well, the breakfast not too bad. The food we had are as following:

In the afternoon, we went to had our lunch after we checked in hotel. We stay in Continental Hotel in the penang road there. I heard that there are alot of food there. Because it is the 1st day, we just simply go to one of the coffee shop nearby.

We ordered a few food, but only get to take the photo of the food below. Other food that we ordered include 'lo bak', 'lo mee', fried kuey thiew. After lunch, we went to botanical garden for walk. My mum told me that i used to go there before when i was young and used to chase by the monyets there. hahaha...

There is a signboard warning not to feed those monyets but i get to take a photo when the person is feeding the monyets. I should tell her that it is againt the law and will be fined...hahaha...

At night, my dad's boss in penang bring us to a shop just opposite the sin chew jit poh office. I hav no chance to take the photos of the food because abit paiseh..hehehe...anyway the food there quite nice and we ordered fried mee (white color 1) and 'wan tan hor' with very big '蚝' (english i dun know called wat) and also spicy Lala and sweet and sour crabs. My dad oso ordered theow chiew porridge which contains pig brain and its kidney. i not dare to try it cause it look awesome. =='
