Seafood in Portuguese Settlement
On the last saturday before I come back kl for my new semester, I went to portuguese settlement to have portuguese style seafoods with my primary schoolmates. But we had forgotten that there is a fiesta going on in that particular area, which held from 23-30 June and the traffic is so terrible. Anyway, it is called Fiesta San Juang and San Pedro, which is celerated by portuguese and i am not sure what is this festival for.
I got to shoot one of the ?banner? (forgot what it called) which i think quite colourful. This fiesta is held in conjuction with the Visit Malaysia 2007.
Ya, the following are the entrances of the portuguese settlement for this fiesta.
Digi is 1 of the major sponsor of this fiesta and i saw alot of this kind of 'patung' walking around over there. So creative their advertisement and i like it. I feel that it is so funny when wearing this. The following is the entrance to Portugues Square where there is alot of bar, bistro and restorans over here.
Ya, we had our seafood in the Restoran 6, which is named as Big Bens. There are alot more Restorans, but my friend say this restoran is cheaper and nicer bt i doubt it. I think the 1st restoran, the 1 jennifer brought us to last time is much nicer.

We ordered 5 dishes, which include sweet and sour crab, 3 taste prawn, ginger cooked bamboo lala, fried sotong and also baby kailan with oyster sauce. Overall, i like the sweet and sour crab. The prawn tasted sweet, sour and also spicy, thats why it called 3 taste prawn. The bamboo lala is not bad also but the fried sotong not nice. The flour covering the sotong not nice and too thick.
